My name is Amjad Ali and I was born and live in Nottingham. I was previously a school governor at Haydn Primary school for over 6 years, where my youngest daughter is still a pupil.

My background is Internal Audit, having worked in practice for over 20 years. I am currently the Head of Internal Audit at the largest multi academy trust in the country and am responsible for delivering audits across the Trust’s central office and schools.

I hope to put my experience to good use as governor at Pinewood Infant School.
