Hi I’m Miriam and I was appointed as parent governor in April 2024. I’m mum to a little girl and we started our school journey in September 2023 in the Cats class at Pinewood. We are so impressed and I love seeing our daughter and her peers develop and flourish at Pinewood. I was keen to become a parent governor so that I can in some way give something back and support our school. 

I have a 25 year career in healthcare / NHS so I have experience in organisational structure and development. As well as delivering care directly to a caseload of patients, I have been involved in service development within my department which has involved innovation, evaluation and attaining high standards of care delivery. 

I am excited to be part of the Pinewood Governor team and seeing the school continue to thrive and provide the best environment, nurture and education for our children.
