  • British Values Ambassadors

These are our British Values Ambassadors for 2025-2026. They were selected by their peers during a vote in September. We will meet regularly to discuss different values and how we can implement them into our school life.

    The British Values are:

    • Democracy

    • Tolerance

    • Respect

    • Liberty

    • Rule of Law

    Autumn 1

Meeting 1 – Today we met for the first time this Academic Year. We introduced ourselves and the class we belong to. The five British Values were explained using our hands to remember them! We look forward to another meeting this week with the School Council to discuss the upcoming Harvest Festival.

Meeting 2 – We made posters together with the School Council, to ask for donations to celebrate the Harvest Festival. We explained that the donations would be going to the local food bank to help those in need.

On 15th September 2025 in assembly we celebrated Democracy Day, how lucky are we to live in Britain with a right to vote!

    Remembrance Day

A tradition in our country is remembering those that have lost their lives in war. We have a wonderful display in our school hall of the art work. We always listen to The Last Post being played on a cornet by Steve in our Remembrance Day assembly each year.

Ms Otter started the week with an assembly teaching us all about Harvest time. Then we worked as a team to collect together this generous Harvest Festival donation which we gave to our local food bank in Arnold. Thank you to all the parents, carers and staff who took part.
