Hi! I’m Brian and I’m honoured to have been appointed as a co-opted governor for Pinewood in March 2026. I have a daughter who joined Pinewood in the reception class in September 2024. It’s been incredible to watch her thrive at Pinewood and to see her grow each day.

I currently work as a manager for a local authority school IT support service. I have over 22 years of experience in IT and as someone with a passion for education over 16 years have been in education support.

Over my career I have carried out both technical and managerial roles and for the last 10 years have been responsible for both the strategic direction, financial and operational management of various education IT support services providing support to customers in Staffordshire, the West Midlands, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City.

I hope to use my experiences to give back to Pinewood and the students on their continued journey of excellence, at the same time as learning and developing myself further.
