One week in shutdown...
Week 1 of shut down complete! Well what a strange week! School is operating for approx 5 children a day on a rota system. A great big thank you to staff for making this happen so we can support key worker families. Thank you to parents too as you really are trying to use us as little as you can to limit the spread between children and Pinewood staff. This sensible ‘we are in this together ‘ approach is so what is needed thank you. The shout out to the NHS last night was heart warming. ❤️
Seesaw has been working brilliantly, thank you to teachers for supporting this virtual learning platform so well but mostly to you as parents and carers for engaging with it . We have been in contact with some of you and with those of you whom we haven’t heard from. Keep up the momentum next week!
Nothing extra to report from my end. Apart from please come and collect your school pack up lunches if your child is entitled to free school meals. We don’t want them going to waste. We can drop them off to you if you are self isolating . Hopefully the government voucher system will be up and running soon . Email the office or me if you need anything. I’m going to try and encourage all the team to have some down time this weekend away from computers and work. I know I need it. The last 7 days have been non stop. Please take care and give your little ones a huge squeeze from me xxxx much love as always Ms Otter
